Rushing to get out the door in the morning is a daily struggle for us. We call it ‘organized chaos’ because we’re always rushing around and trying not to forget anything, which makes mornings really hectic.
But on weekends, when there’s more time (and less stress), I like making elaborate breakfasts that involve my kids too!
These recipes are perfect because you can use them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – so tasty your kids will love these dishes at any time of day.
Healthy breakfast choices don’t have to be bland. In fact, they can be tasty!
Here is a favorite option that your kids will love:
Breakfast tacos are a great healthy way to start your child’s day. Combine simple ingredients in between corn tortillas, and you have an easy, clean breakfast for kids!
Different Types of Breakfast Tacos Include:
Classic Egg and Cheese
Egg, Tomato, and Avocado
Egg Turkey Bacon and Sweet Potato
Egg, Black Bean, Cheese, Salsa

Egg, Black Bean, Cheese, and Salsa Taco
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1/2 can black beans
- 2 scrambled eggs
- 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of salsa
Procedure1. Cook scrambled eggs
2. Heat black beans
3. Place a flat pan on medium heat
4. Warm-up corn tortillas on a flat pan
5. Assemble tacos
- - Corn Tortilla
- - 2 tbs black beans
- - 2 tbs scrambled eggs
- - 1 tbs cheddar cheese
6. Add salsa on the side
