Healthy Breakfast For Kids – Gluten-Free French Toast
Rushing to get out the door in the morning is a daily struggle for us. We call it ‘organized chaos’ because we’re always rushing around and trying not to forget anything, which makes mornings really hectic.
But on weekends, when there’s more time (and less stress), I like making elaborate breakfasts that involve my kids too!
These recipes are perfect because you can use them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner – so tasty your kids will love these dishes at any time of day.
Healthy breakfast choices don’t have to be bland. In fact, they can be tasty!
Here is a favorite option that your kids will love:
Gluten-Free French Toast
French toast is a delicious breakfast that is not usually the healthiest of meals. This recipe, however, will have your kids begging for more without them even noticing they are eating something healthy!
Gluten-Free French Toast
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of gluten-free bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbs vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- coconut oil
- honey
- fresh berries

Procedure
1. Mix eggs in a bowl large enough for the bread to fit into2. Add vanilla to egg mixture
3. Add almond milk to the mixture
4. add cinnamon to the mixture
5. Whisk until well mixed
6. Submerge bread into the liquid mixture
7. Place a flat pan on medium heat
8. Add coconut oil
9. Grill the sides of the submerged bread evenly until golden brown
10. Add berries 11. Top with honey 12. Enjoy!
