FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What Is the Easiest Dessert to Make From Scratch?
All kids love a good dessert. But, of course, the best way to know just what they’re eating is to make it yourself, so you can avoid the laundry list of unfamiliar ingredients that comes with all of the processed sweets out there.
The good news is that you don’t have to be a whiz in the kitchen to whip up something tasty.
Fried ice cream is a favorite comfort dessert, but it’s a lot of work.
A more straightforward solution is to make a simpler variation of it, which involves toasting corn flakes separately and then coating the ice cream with your crunchy, fried topping.
You get the same effect with a fraction of the work.
What Can You Bake When You’re Bored?
Nothing is easier than simply going to the supermarket and picking up a tube of cookie dough, but if you want to make something from scratch that’s still quick and easy, you can’t do better than a dump cake.
While the name may not be appealing, it’s appropriate, as all you have to do is dump a collection of ingredients into a bowl, mix them, and then dump the mixture into a cake pan! A quick Internet search will return all sorts of dump cake recipes.
What Is the Best Dessert in the World?
If you ask one hundred different people what the best dessert in the world is, you’re going to get one hundred different answers. A lot goes into what makes a good dessert, but it all comes down to taste at the end of the day.
Many beloved desserts are tied to their countries of origin. For example, you’ve probably heard the phrase “American as apple pie.” That saying, of course, stems from the United State’s love of apple pie.
There are numerous popular French desserts, such as macarons, mousse, and crème brûlée. From there, it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump over to Italy, the birthplace of tiramisu. There are many dessert dishes running for the best dessert globally, and we haven’t even gotten to a particular Canadian classic!
